So I decided to go on a bike ride up and down Hines Drive yesterday afternoon, you know, because it's excellent cardio and a solitary activity. (I limited it to under 11 miles because I didn't get out for rides much during the winter, and I'm not yet back in shape.) 1/

How can this work? Exercise outside is great if a few people do it but dangerous if many people do it. Is there any solution that isn't banning people entirely (some places do this already)?
-
An app that would tell you how many people are already at a place before you go.

I was walking in the park. On a trail that is maybe 20 feet from the sidewalk at one point. This older disheveled looking man, goes into the middle of this green space and starts to hack away, without covering his mouth. I went to the far side of the path.
-
In retrospect I should of walked away from him and/or yelled at him to cover his mouth.

There were people in the park playing soccer.

You should try going to Walmart. Terrifying. Wore a mask, but I think some people thought it meant it was okay to get closer to me. Some of my family is freaked out by my decision to go back to the hospital, but I think Walmart is scarier right now.
