Agreed, and all I found so far was this: https://www.globalresearch.ca/report-successful-treatment-coronavirus/5708056 … https://www.mediterranee-infection.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/03/COVID-IHU-2-1.pdf …

Think the first link is the same as the letter I posted the Gdocs link for. The second one has nothing to do with Zelenko but has many of its own problems.

Yeah, they look kind of light on actual proof. Where is the thousand person content? Anyone have a source? I find it really odd that FDA would give the go-ahead on this without more data.

Have to question the potential for Political motivations in the approval process. Other potential is Appoved to allow donations to National Stockpile. Not sure if FDA or other guidelines prohibits RX for Specific Disease w/o EAU or Clinical Trials data support

I'm remaining objective for now, I think a real study will be forthcoming soon anyway. A lot of good points made in this thread though.

Not enough info to call it political, hoax, solid science, fact, etc. so I will wait out more info.

Exactly, until High Quality Research is available there isn't enough information to make an "Informed Decision" on. Hope & Anecdotal Observations aren't enough to show effectiveness of Tx without control group. The initial 30 pt study had Flaws.

Imho an informed decision is based on risk benefit equation. This is especially easy with anti malarials as they have a well known safety record. If have a 5% chance of a benefit and 1% chance of a negative effect easy decision when no real alternative.

This is used to justify all kinds of pseudoscientific quack treatments based on them having essentially zero risk, so any possible benefit however small or unlikely is thought to outweigh the risks and be worth a go.

And chloroquine is most definitely not zero risk. Its risks are well known.

Well known is a positive as can be avoided. Hydroxycloroquine is a cleaner drug.
