Dr. Fauci to @jaketapper this morning: "Looking at what we're seeing now, I would say between 100,000 and 200,000 cases (of coronavirus)... excuse me, deaths. I mean, we're going to have millions of cases." #CNNSOTU
This is going to get a lot worse before it gets better.

Yeah. I am saying worldwide, not the US. Not even Italy has that much. Stop scaring people that they are going to die, please.

The account your responding to is an anti Fauci troll who denies the need to distancing to fight the virus. Of course they're going to lie about the extent of current infections as well as projected rates. Don't waste time — they're fully paid up members of the death cult.

The
#maga folks like this one are not only willfully and selfishly blind, but they're also incapable of doing basic math. One has to wonder why they're more interested in protecting the president than saving American lives.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

And honestly, 100-200K sounds incredibly optimistic. Epidemiologists expect 40-70% of the population will be infected. With a CFR of 1-2%, that places total mortality for the U.S. at 1.5 to 4.4 million people. Am I missing something here?
