      Worst case scenario, something like the situation in Italy could be coming to the US soon. From what I've been reading of accounts on Twitter, I'm thinking I might need to bone up on my ICU medicine.       From what I've been reading from Italian blogs and on Twitter, in Lombardy, all elective surgery has been canceled, and pretty much every doctor, including subspecialists and surgeons, has been recruited to help care for coronavirus patients. We could be just two weeks behind.

          I read a few(?) days ago that they had turned some of the operating rooms in Lombardy hospitals into additional spaces to treat urgent care patients
