Defending @JeromeAdamsMD: He has an impossible job, trying to preserve the health of our nation in the true spirit of public service. He’s smart, committed, and a good person, buried with #COVID19 issues. Maybe he didn’t get it quite right before a seasoned journalist, it’s okhttps://twitter.com/wkamaubell/status/1236846201036853249 …

He has been doing this for years, both with Pence in Indiana and now with Trump & Pence. If he is so smart then why does he stand idly by while terrible things (HIV outbreak, kids in cages, withholding corona info) happen around him? He is complicit.

Whatever one wants to argue a public health official’s role should be in the face of bad actors in leadership, he has watched if not allowed preventable human suffering for years now & remains sycophantic to power. I don’t think any of that is within the scope of public health.

I was following him and retweeting his sound medical advice even yesterday until that interview. But credibility is the only job of the surgeon general. He lost it. That's no small thing. Americans will no longer trust anything he says.

. You're a medical doctor??? I'll never understand why so many people are so excited to throw all their credibility away for Trump.
