I’ve almost had this happen more times than I can remember, and I don’t have a 15” MacBook Pro, which is what this computer appears to have been. I have a 13” MacBook Pro. I’ve learned to be REALLY careful when trying to get some work done on a plane.https://www.nzherald.co.nz/travel/news/article.cfm?c_id=7&objectid=12313258 …

I saved someone’s laptop once with quick reflexes stopping a reclining seat just long enough for him to get it out. Look out Barry Allen!

I always intend to work on a plane, and end up watching some stupid movie that I end up liking. Save your computer- order a drink instead

I often work on the plane - it’s undisturbed time, I don’t get much of that. I’ve nearly lost a laptop like this, even though I have a small, lightweight model. I hate people who recline more than a couple of inches.

He tucked the monitor in where the tray is stored? That's not really Delta's fault.

The design of these seat trays is such that it’s actually hard to keep the top of the laptop from catching under the lip. You have to make a conscious effort. Even making a conscious effort, I’ve been surprised by the person in front of me reclining and almost failed to avoid it.

I had sympathy for the guy right up until I saw he was a writer for Barstool Sports. Also, it looks like he didn't try to talk to the person who reclined their seat? If I ever ruined something by reclining too fast on a flight, I would've tried to make it right.

Working on a plane? This is what sociopaths do. We get it, you have a job. Stop showing off. This is a cry for help. Therapists are standing by to take your call... ps-Try taking ambien, 7 rum & cokes & running up and down the aisle naked like a normal human being.
