It’s one thing to deplore eugenics on ideological, political, moral grounds. It’s quite another to conclude that it wouldn’t work in practice. Of course it would. It works for cows, horses, pigs, dogs & roses. Why on earth wouldn’t it work for humans? Facts ignore ideology.

Why bring it up. Why bring it up in that manner he did? A simple it possible but unethical is NOT what he said. By just making it a question. It’s ok to be against, implies that some people will be for it.

Of course he brings it up because he want to prove the point that even things that feels emotionally wrong can be facts. But just because things are facts doesn't mean we MUST follow them and think they are something good, we can't ignore them though and treat them as non facts.

What facts? He hasn’t even defined what he means by eugenics and change. Eugenics has never been used in reference to domestication of animals or creating changes in plants. Never Eugenics has meant two things in history.

Selective breeding is NOT Eugenics. Eugenics has always been about the government sterilizing and or killing people

No, it’s not. Really it’s not, which is why he had to add additional explanatoryTweets.🙄

I never said Dawkins was evil. He clearly is not evil. It’s only because people respect him that they get pissed off at him dragging eugenics into a tweet. He chose the word. He knows the historical use of that word.
