Holy crap, this is dumb. A baby with a breathing tube would not be sucking on a pacifier. That's a nasogastric feeding tube, you idiot, and those look like hemangioma; i.e., NOT a vaccine reaction. Stop spreading fake antivax news. https://twitter.com/responsibleMDs/status/1227654597004681216 …

OK, someone is telling me this is a parody account, and it might be. If it is a parody account, this particular Tweet is a fail, thanks to Poe's Law and its riling up pro-vaccine doctors far more than anyone else.

I can see that, if this is a parody account, perhaps its owner was trying to get antivaxxers to retweet this particular image. The plan failed. Basically, it's a lot of doctors responding by pointing out the idiocy of the original Tweet.

When parody accounts lead pro-vaccine docs to waste their time refuting the nonsense they're hoping to bait antivaxxers into retweeting, it is not helpful; it is counterproductive.

Oh, well, I suppose I should have known better (I usually do.) But even the most experienced
#SoMe#medtwitter types occasionally let their guard down or have a bad day.Show this thread -
If it turns out to be a provax parody account, I'll just take my lumps for having been taken in and be glad it wasn't for very long. That's all you can do.

It's a troll account - still don't quite understand the motivations. MO appears to see how widely sarcastic tweets are shared. See their pinned post, for example.https://twitter.com/responsibleMDs/status/1215071910880563202 …

I think instead of chemical shots, doctors should give a very small amount of the virus so the body can build up immunity.
