Or “free thinker.” My experience (which admittedly might be heavily influenced by confirmation bias) is that people who brag about being a “free thinker” are about as far from forethought as you can get. What they really usually mean is that they like to say offensive things.

Is Mensa still a thing? I thought they disappeared in the 80's along with Jazzercise.

It is in showbusiness, like with Slovenian model Iris Mulej or Polish singer Doda. People in STEM sometimes take Mensa's test (paying for someone to tell them they are intelligent does indicate narcissism) but refuse to become members.
