In fairness, while antivax fear mongering on SoMe is *definitely* a major contributor to vaccine hesitancy, vaccine hesitancy existed long before social media, as did the antivaccine movement. I perhaps wrongly implied that vax hesitancy is exclusively due to AV fear-mongering. It isn’t. But as others have indicated, it is the massive amplification on SoMe which has made vax hesitancy a global threat.
