Med students are not subject to residency hour limits. I did not create these charts, just sharing.pic.twitter.com/45M5S1SoqZ

Did you bother to check these facts at all? Please explain how students spending 64 weeks on clerkships are getting to 6000 hours. If you can't show your work, then don't share the numbers.

      Not 64wks. Last 2 yrs are all clinical=82.4wks. 12 hr/d is common, Surg/OB do 1+call/wk +. Av 73 hrs/week!pic.twitter.com/rVXBBcj0Tq

I provided you with up to date clerkship numbers from the AAMC. What is the source of your numbers? I thought you cared about facts?

The link I shared clearly stated 64 weeks on average for clerkships. Your second point is irrelevant to your made up med student hours.

No, other is other. You cannot assume it is clinical time just to fit your agenda. Even it was clinical time, still means med students are averaging 70 hours a week in yrs 3 and 4. You think med students are working intern hours?

You really think clinical wks went down from 82 to 64 in past 3 yrs? ED/surg/OB has 24+ shifts every 3 days

Med students rarely take 24 hr call (was only done at my school for sub-I) & certainly not every 3 days. You're really trying to argue that med students spend yrs 3 & 4 working more clinical hrs than residents? You have yet to provide any evidence to back this claim.

The med school hours are cited by mid-levels too:https://midlevelu.com/blog/md-vs-np-vs-pa-heres-how-number-clinical-hours-compare …

And this helps your argument how? You still have not shown how 6000 hours was calculated regardless of where the number is cited.

It says estimated based on 750 hours per yr with no citation for this estimate. 750 × 4 also =/= 6000. Not helping your case.
