I am sorry you are offended by facts. RNs who do online degrees & 500 clinical hrs practice medicine independently in half the US.pic.twitter.com/NbxPLkqhiv

If med students spend on average 64 wks in clinical clerkships (AAMC data), how do you get to 6000 clinical hours? Do you think they work 93 hours/wk? More than a resident is allowed to work? You say "facts" & yet somehow I think you mean fabricationhttps://www.aamc.org/data-reports/curriculum-reports/interactive-data/weeks-instruction-and-contact-hours-required-us-medical-schools …

I didn’t make the other one, but pet groomer & barber had references. Only 500 hrs of diagnosing/treating to practice independentlypic.twitter.com/rLF8wuKBoM

You know what else is deceptive? Legislation of non physicians2 practice medicine. W/out one day in med school. Now ask WHY? Why would hospital corps; PEfirms; insureres; lobbies; PBMs;legislators want2 promote false narrative? Who wins? Who loses...Patients!

So curious, do you agree w allowing NPs/PAs to practice unsupervised? Or is it just the graph you dislike..two different arguments. I do believe that whatever your craft, you must devote time to attain the skill..It is interesting to see what is needed in other professions..

Yeah, his whole feed is ignorant & inaccurate. Comparing APRNs to Petsmart groomers?? Ridiculous. I bet the nurses who have to work with him really dread that.

You are doing a disservice to your patients if you sit back and do nothing to stop the legislature of who is qualified to practice medicine. NP are able to go from an RN to practicing medicine independently in as little as 19 months.
