Though not part of the "Man with No Name" series, The Outlaw Josie Wales is terrific too.

If you like spaghetti westerns now, you’ve got to check out “Once Upon a Time in the West.” It’s a true masterpiece, and Henry Fonda plays a villain. A REALLY evil villain. No really, His character is absolutely cruel and vicious in this movie. Charles Bronson is in it too.

The first scene is a master course in building tension.

He was a genius. In a different genre, his “Once Upon a Time in America” is my favorite gangster movie of all time. I like it more than even “The Godfather.” Nonlinear storytelling at its finest, spanning nearly 50 years.

You have to watch the original version though. There’s a shorter version in which the story was told linearly. It’s awful.

The movie has Robert De Niro, James Woods, Joe Pesci, Elizabeth McGovern, Treat Williams, Tuesday Weld, a very young Jennifer Connelly, and Burt Young. The cast is amazing!
