Except it’s not your body. It’s the child’s. Parental rights are not absolute, and the state can and should step in to stop neglect and/or abuse. Antivaxxers think that their children are either extensions of their bodies or their possessions. https://t.co/kcCwg7sYjR

A child develops cancer. With treatment he has an 85% chance of surviving it, 0% without treatment. The parents decide to treat the child with prayer instead of medicine. Are you honestly saying the state should let this child die of medical neglect? You’re OK with that? I’m not.

Unfortunately, this applies to so many things in our society - poor nutrition, exposure to chemicals/bad air/etc, sexual/physical/emotional abuse by “leaders”.... honestly, this argument is not the way to win the vaccine wars.

This is whataboutism, which is a distraction and diversion tactic. Answer my specific question, please. Are you OK with letting a child die of cancer because his parents decide to use prayer instead of medicine?

"medicine" is only chemo poisoning and radiation. Everything else is a "prayer". I'd like more choices, but who would bother? Existing options are quite profitable, and docs prefer status quo.

Vaccines are supposed to prevent serious diseases, right? Can I assume millions are spent on cancer prevention programs? And docs are as insistent on patients following thru on prevention actions as they are on jabbing patients with their toxic concoctions?

Again, stop being ridiculous. There are nuts in every nook of society. And because of that you want to take EVERY parents rights away.

Then let’s ban alcohol because it causes drunk driving and kills / injures people. Let’s ban cigarettes because of the residual harm from second hand smoke.
