Yeah, I cited that article back when this whole kerfuffle was at its peak, saying it'd make Vinay's head explode to know that I'd coauthored a brief article in NEJM with Gilbert Welch on overdiagnosis.

And most skeptics do what they do as a hobby for free. His work is part of his job. He gets paid for it. That’s great. I admire his work- a lot. But what arrogance to tell people how they should spend their days off and free time?

Yup. I've only had two papers published in the peer-reviewed literature having to do with alternative or integrative medicine.
