Yes they have. Only multidose vials contain thimerosal, and multidose vials are seldom used in pediatric flu vaccines. Even if there were thimerosal in the vaccine, it didn’t cause harm. It doesn’t cause autism.

Anecdote, anecdote, anecdote. To assess the risk, we need to know the fatality rate for dogs with the flu, and the rate of failure of the vaccine. Cherry-picking incidents is not evidence.

Exactly. That’s even assuming the canine influenza vaccine is comparable to the human influenza vaccine, something you can’t assume given interspecies differences.
