T. Rex should’ve been in the Hall 20 years ago. It’s also still a travesty that Jethro Tull is not in the Hall.https://twitter.com/RMCarpiano/status/1217524633085169664 …

Well, Elton John is in there, and at least his stuff doesn't remind me of a 1960s washing machine thrashing away. Tull's omission is a bit odd, but then they weren't really mainstream.

Jethro Tull not mainstream? Are you freakin’ kidding me? “Thick as a Brick” reached #1 on the Billboard chart in 1972 and charted for 46 weeks. “Aqualung” reached #7 in the US and #4 in the UK in 1971. Lots of Tull albums charted high for a long time. http://tsort.info/music/bhb4n0.htm …

I’d estimate at least 50% of the kids I went to high school with in ‘72-‘75 owned either Aqualung or Thick as a Brick; most had both.

Aqualung was one of my favorite albums in high school.
