They are thick as a brick and skating away on the thin ice of a new day.

No one is ever going to top Robert Smith’s “induction”: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=S9LXN_ufL8M …

Well, Elton John is in there, and at least his stuff doesn't remind me of a 1960s washing machine thrashing away. Tull's omission is a bit odd, but then they weren't really mainstream.

Jethro Tull not mainstream? Are you freakin’ kidding me? “Thick as a Brick” reached #1 on the Billboard chart in 1972 and charted for 46 weeks. “Aqualung” reached #7 in the US and #4 in the UK in 1971. Lots of Tull albums charted high for a long time. http://tsort.info/music/bhb4n0.htm …

I was very happy to see T Rex on the list. When a band has been name checked in songs by David Bowie and The Who I think they deserve a listen.

I saw Jethro Tull once in San Francisco. Anderson was an obnoxious strutting insult to the audience. He probably alienated too many people to allow entry.

Tull yep. T Rex I like but why Hall-worthy?

Very groundbreaking and influential in the realm of glam rock. Influenced David Bowie.

Just on the fact that Bowie idolized Bolen, T-Rex should be in. Electric Warrior is one of the greatest albums of all time.
