However. Should your chronic pain be caused by carrying around a fat, heavy wallet, acupuncture treatments will definitely alleviate that problem.

As a person with chronic pain, I agree that acupuncture helped with other things, like nausea, but not pain. I've heard of some who claim it helps their pain, but mostly it's short-term and relaxation aspects.

Acupuncture stopped my hot flashes and night sweats. Has also helped with back pain, though it's not curative. Clearly not a cure-all, but it has its place.

Recent headlines have made it very difficult to find a doctor who will actually treat pain. I have SLE and MS. My pain doc decided he didn’t care if I couldn’t get out of bed half the time. Desperate people will try anything. I tried Accupuncture & bee sting “therapy”.....

Neither did a damn thing except 150 dead bees. I wished I weren’t so desperate to find something but I am. So now I’m making plans for a trip to Switzerland. One way or another I’m going to end feeling like this. I’m very grateful Dignitas is willing to do what US docs won’t

Desperation makes you do anything. The news has made it really difficult. I have SLE & MS. My pain doc doesn’t think not being able to get out of bed half the time. I’ve tried everything I can to be able to leave my apartment. I’ve tried Accupuncture, bee stings & more...

I don't know. From a bio-phsyiological perspective, acupuncture is probably useless. However, is someone expiriences pain-relief psychosomatically, than isn't that money well spent? Especially because, for most people, acupuncture is harmless health-wise.

It's harmless until it isn't If we're going to advocate for placebo treatments, there are ones that don't occasionally stab a needle into a lung Massage induced rhabdomyolysis is even rarer, and includes way more therapeutic touch https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3755677/MN …
