Exactly! What they said in the meeting is they’re working towards more safety, like we have in western countries

Exactly. She didn’t say that vaccines are unsafe.

While I have Del’s attention, maybe he can list the three ACTIVE surveillance systems in the US for adverse event monitoring after vaccination. He’s always complaining that VAERS is a passive reporting system, but VAERS is NOT the be-all and end-all of vaccine safety monitoring.

VAERS, CISA, and VSD. I have discussed all of these on The HighWire. If vaccines are safe you should demand with me that they prove it by taking the IOM’s recommendation and conducting a Vaxxed vs. completely Unvaxxed retrospective study. Let’s see who is healthier.

If you know about those active surveillance systems, then you know you’re deceiving when you emphasize VAERS over them. VAERS is an early warning system, nothing more. VSD, CISA, and PRISM do the real work of vaccine safety.

As for a “vaxxed/unvaxxed study, it’s so cute when antivaxxers think they know epidemiology. This post is old; so the autism prevalence numbers are out of date, but the principles are the same.https://respectfulinsolence.com/2009/08/24/its-so-cute-when-anti-vaxers-try-to/ …

Also, it’s an antivax myth that there are no “vaxxed/unvaxxed” studies. Guess what? If anything, they find the vaccinated to be healthier. At the very least there’s no detectable difference.https://thoughtscapism.com/2015/04/10/myth-no-studies-compare-the-health-of-unvaccinated-and-vaccinated-people/ …

Of course, that’s no difference in health not accounting for infectious diseases. Unvaccinated children will, of course, be less healthy than vaccinated children because they will suffer more and more severe cases of vaccine-preventable diseases than the vaccinated.

David, thank you for supplying this article on Vaxxed vs unvaxxed. I will take time to study it and get back to you. But I’d still rather see this study done in the VSD because U.S. has better surveillance and the best scientists. I hope you agree.

VSD members would love if you funded a study of member data. Make it so.

As long as he doesn’t pick Mark Ana David Geier as the PI. The last time they tried to do a study using VSD data, they got busted for trying to combine datasets in a manner that would have allowed linking PHI to individual records.

For those not familiar with the lingo: PI= principal investigator PHI= protected health informationhttps://www.hhs.gov/answers/hipaa/what-is-phi/index.html …

Basically, the Geiers tried to link anonymized records to PHI. NOT cool. It works have violated the privacy of children in the databases.
