My wife and I are used to it, after having fostered two previous litters, each of which was bigger than this one (eight and seven puppies). It's not a big deal. We don't even flinch about it any more. I'm sure I probably have poo on my jeans somewhere.

What is it, the desire for attention/to play/for human contact/or miss Mom. Who can explain the joy they seem to show and how they all go for the hand.

These puppies seem more clingy than the previous two litters we fostered. I think it's because they don't have a mom. (Someone dropped them off at the shelter without their mom.) They were emaciated, and one of them was at death's door. The first foster did a fantastic job.
