If you want clear evidence of the BS behind most religious exemptions, I’d love to see a study of parents claiming medical exemptions as soon as their prior religious exemption was outlawed (CA, NY). Suddenly all those parents claiming God now saying their kids are fragile.

And being an antivaxxer is just a stoke to the ego. It’s never about the children. It is always about the ego of a parent who needs more attention than they are currently getting.

In my experience there is a tribal element to it as well, especially in the autism mom community. They share a common bond of parenting children that can be difficult, and they find comfort with people who understand their life. Then you find out all the moms blame vaccines.

The 2 day Vaccine Safety Summit by the WHO is on their website and free to stream. They advised against using the word “antivaxxer.” It’s not helping your cause....at all.... bet you missed that part of the discussion too.
