It’s funny you use this article as a source, because it’s what I would use to counter your claims of equivalent care: low strength of evidence, medium to high risk of bias. It really drives home the point that some (you?) have difficulty reading beyond headlines.pic.twitter.com/dHjwmz1Unq

That @gorskon also liked this tweet also goes to show how even an MD/PhD can be susceptible to bias.

Correction: Doesn't exist yet. How many people knew about the degree mills besides the nursing organizations and that there were FNPs with no nursing skills? PPP just formed as an official organization last year although we began as a FB group 3 years ago. Just a small group of

Thanks for your support, David. As I have argued on other threads (and you have in your blog) the NP scope of practice is far more narrow than that of a MD. Awareness of scope and when to refer to a higher (or more specialized) level of care is important for all practitioners.

Does NP scope of practice include invasive neuroangiograms? Setting aside procedures, if your SOP is narrow, are you limited to any specific diagnoses or prescriptions?

The use of the word “rant” is not objective. Are you trying to discredit the experts in medicine who don’t see in clinical practice what your six year old study shows? Most of us welcome peer review.
