I’m not ignoring anything. I’m refusing to trust those who demand my compliance without question and who would deem me ignorant because I don’t agree.

But on what basis are you questioning this?

I don’t have to have a basis. I question it. That alone is enough.

However, I do have a basis. Vaccinations carry risk. It doesn’t matter how minuscule it may be. People have been hurt and people have died as a result. I may choose to decide how I want to negate that risk, because where there is risk, there must be choice. I stand for my choice.

Exactly the point. Facts matter more than your beliefs. Which is why parents have to make a decision regarding each and every vaccine for their children. Comparing to seatbelts is a really poor comparison.

Except not all doctors agree that vaxing is always safe. Even doctors are second guessed by the all knowing state. A medical exemption, from a DOC, is not enough anymore. Even they have to qualify their actions.God help them if they sign more than a handful of waivers per year.

Indeed. Actual, scientifically legitimate medical contraindications to vaccination are pretty uncommon. Immunosuppressed children can’t receive live virus vaccines, for instance.

Severe gelatin allergies can be a contraindication to gelatin containing vaccines. Some genetic conditions also an issue for live vaccines, like some inherited immune deficiency conditions. Etc.
