Most of these antivaccine activists were vaccinated and protected by their loving parents when they were children.

Stop with the guilt trip nonsense. At the time I was vaccinated I rec'd a total of 6 vaccines. No piggy backed vaccines. Newborns CANNOT handle the amount of vaccines given at one time today. So STOP with the guilt trips, you are wrong.

Thankfully, some kids disregard their parents' anti-vaccine stance and get it done ASAP. https://www.webmd.com/children/news/20190215/ohio-teen-gets-himself-vaccinated-inspires-others …

Yeah! I keep telling my family, despite her anti-love stance... I'm gonna sleep with him no matter what they think. I mean, what objection could possibly overule my ability to consent against my loved ones objections? https://archive.li/erEoi

Treating children like property isn't just for antivaxxers. Genital mutilation of children is epidemic in America despite strong evidence of it's harm.
-
The medical profession in the USA is not only complicit but in fact a primary driver of this medical abuse of children.

I hope that an adult with a compromised immune system is able to sue the crap out of negligent parents if she comes down with a childhood illness because of their child. Accountability. Vaccinate your kids. If u feel the need to space them a month apart then do so but vaccinate

But the flip side implies a child's body is the property of the State. The bottom line is, kids belong to (or are wards of) their parents, who should be empowered to make ALL decisions on their behalf until they reach an age of reason. Whether out not we agree with them.

“Belong to the parents”? Freudian slip there? No, parental rights are not absolute, nor should they be. Children are separate beings with rights of their own, among them the right to proper medical care.
