My thoughts on NJ vax bill vote past 2 days seemed to irked bunch of anti-vax activists. Takehome: what's often invoked as "liberty," labelled in accts/tweets/protests as "libertarian" is, by moral philosophy definition, egoism, not libertarianism. E.g., https://plato.stanford.edu/entries/egoism/

A few years back, a local dentist didn’t want his kids to be taught sex ed in public school & tried to sue the school board. He actually said, they’re my kids, “I own them.”

Really does show how it's purely egoistic self-interest. Legal precedent aside to such pretzel logic, really makes one wonder how these protestors feel abt social services aiding children of abusive and neglectful parents. Govt over-reach too or "Not for me; only other parents"

Yep. And Twitter sadly offers no shortage such comments, protest photos, etc. as data points.

No it’s CDC science that says herd immunity doesn’t exist from most vaccines.

Shouldn't all medicine be science based? Or at least randomized control trial based.

No, parents of vaccine-injured children simply want to protect them from harm...apparently that's something those in medical professions no longer vow not to do.
-
And who gives you, or any other so-called doctor, authority to decide what interventions are medically necessary anyways? Perhaps if parents were truly offered informed consent they might want to actually work with doctors.
