Yep. I Iost 35 lbs. and counting over the last year or so by ruthlessly counting calories using and app (and exercising). IKR? I don't know how accurate estimates by my cycling app on my Apple Watch are, but I was damned surprised initially to learn that bicycling the path I usually use only burns about 60-75 Cal/mile. I usually have to do at least 14 miles to burn 1,000 Cal.
