One of the sad things about this (certainly not the saddest though) is how they make it so hard to have *genuine* discussions on vaccine use. Should European countries go for universal flu/varicella vaccines (right now we don't)? Is HPV vaccine cost effective for males?

There is a whole world of vaccinology that's not yet set in stone and they are drowning out all the interesting conversations we could be having instead.

I don't disagree with you there. When any legitimate scientific and policy controversies are immediately distorted and weaponized against vaccines, it's hard to have those conversations.
