It’s almost as though antivaxxers don’t understand that it takes weeks or months to get from 31% MMR coverage to the 95% coverage needed for herd immunity from a mass vaccination program and that immunity from a vaccine doesn’t develop instantaneously. 🙄😂🤦🏻‍♂️https://twitter.com/ambiebambie326/status/1203391729472352256 …

I think they are saying that the vaccine caused the outbreak because of course they'll always claim nonsens3.

They're just so smug and self righteous. They hang on to every tidbit that they think supports their view. Ugh.

If it wasn’t blaming the vaccines for the outbreak itself. They would of come up with something else. Chem trails, tainted water, Walmart. 1/2

But when you are about to travel and have to get vaccinated that there is no herd immunity your vax works perfectly???? LOL

Because you might be going to places with a lower rate of vaccination where the herd immunity doesn't do its job as well.

Herd immunity refers to theoretical disease control - meaning outbreaks lessen when a certain amount of the population is immune. It’s not validated by science, and it does not mean your vaccine only works if everyone else gets vaccinated too.

Herd immunity has little to do with whether or not your individual vaccines work, and everything to do with the capacity for non-vaccinated people to get infected, and the capacity therein for the disease to mutate or otherwise get around the aforementioned vaccinations.
