3/6 I was a Cerner super user at my last job, when I moved my new job was on meditech. I was a rank novice. (I can just see the vigorous head-nodding right now) Only consistent thing was Dragon dictations, but none of my curated boilerplates or favorites carried over

4/6 It was really frustrating. All of my clinical & leadership skills readily transferred, which was very cool. My EHR skill, which was developed thru much time & effort, was worthless. Again, I can just feel the head-nodding...

5/6 This topic of EHR integration into curriculum came up when I had 2 Epic execs on Explore The Space podcast, it’s certainly in EHR interests b/c will steer people towards jobs w/ same EHRhttps://www.explorethespaceshow.com/podcasting/epic-ehr-controversies-tensions-goals/ …

6/6 I have no interest in returning to paper charts FTR. It is essential as we untangle the EHR knot that we start by asking the right questions, having correct expectations, & delegating responsibility correctly. FIN

Absolutely NOT! They started the increase in Socialized Medical Care by creating HMO'S PPO's - Hillarycare. From that point Medical Care started it's deterioration.

That's...literally not how socialism works though. That's still capitalism. Just because you don't like something doesn't make it socialism. HMOs and PPOs are capitalistic enterprises, so if you want to blame an economic system for this, you're going to have to blame capitalism.

The minute you create networks of care it is socialism opposed to free market.

Socialism comes in various degrees. American socialism in Medical Care started in 1948. Since then incremental steps were made towards full socialism as Medicare for All.

Apply the definition correctly. Even Medicare for All is not socialism. Socialism is defined by public ownership of "the means of production, distribution, and exchange" - in this case including of hospitals and clinics and the delivery of care, which is not Medicare for All.
