THIS is what “integrative medicine” is doing to pain patients, prescribing them quackery and denying them effective pain relief. 1/https://twitter.com/Steftyem/status/1200857540289912832 …

Unfortunately it predates the opioid addiction epidemic. I was diagnosed nearly 22 years ago and there were already a lot of doctors more afraid of being harassed by the DEA than willing to offer sufficient concrete help for patients with severe chronic pain.

I don't see a recommendation for Osteopathy here...I do see some word I've never seen before that alludes to osteopathic origin. Don't lump the whole of Osteopathy into your anti-quackery tirades...Which I do appreciate.

I believe this is the part in reference. As the patient, I’m happy to answer any questions about the visit. Also note this was to epidemiologist ABD & microbiologist, which they would bring up during visit. Cannot imagine to non-science/health patientpic.twitter.com/zG5srjxEpU

No wonder the first thing my American relatives want is large bottles of Tylenol w/ codeine.

The absence of the super effective combo of an NSAID and Tylenol on that list of nonsense is borderline criminal negligence. We have TWO great pain relievers that can work together and are (for most!) safe and of course non-addictive. That should basically be the whole list.
