    kids die of measles when there is poverty - rich kids don't die of measles. vax isn't enough to manage diseases that kill and putting too much attention on vaxing takes it away from underlying conditions that actually cause deaths.

        They become mutually exclusive when the focus and funding is on the drugs and not on the poverty and economic injustice. That's also how the US uses some vaccines that other countries have found to be unsafe & how we export the ones we found unsafe to countries w/no regulations

        @joniCarley Being unvaccinated against measles in the modern world is a component of poverty, of less magnitude but in the same category as a lack of access to clean water.
