If I were that doctor, even if it’s true that BCBS wouldn’t pay me “what I was worth,” I’d never say that to a patient, not phrased that way.

So we should just sign every contract? I hope you don’t shop for cell phone or cable that way... corporate abuse of labor includes physicians. They write the rules, then vilify us for not accepting non-negotiable rates

There are also things which just can't be done in network. Where I live, and who I have for my insurance, I literally can't get SRS/GCS in network. Which means what would cost me roughly $2k through insurance will at bare minimum cost me $5k.
