While accurate (I'm guessing) it's not necessarily a good representation of boomer wealth. While many of us are doing pretty well the average savings overall might not be all that. I'm guessing the top is skewing the average high. Does the 2% own more than everyone else?

They pulled the ladder up after themselves. I don’t care if people call it intergenerational splitting or whatever. The fact is, the hugely populous demographic currently in power screwed their own children, turned the safety net into tax cuts, and ignored the environment.

In general, millenials are awful at understanding how to be productive and actually make money, because they've mostly been taught to focus their attention on non-productive matters and have a negative attitude towards any sort of accumulation of wealth (even a small amount)
