If they thought about this for two seconds they would see the necessity of children being entitled to such rights. One could see how an abusive parent, for example, could decide not to have a fracture examined to avoid culpability.

Agreed. My mother was an Evangelical Christian who did not believe in vaccinations. As a teenager, I begged my father to get my polio vaccine, which he did after my mother died from cancer she was “praying” away.
