They’ve always hated it, under the misguided impression they can do better in regular courts.
Apparently bulking their hourly rates isn’t enough money for these lawyers, who for some reason labor under the delusion that they can do better in regular civil court.
Of course, never mind that most families have a much better chance of winning in Vaccine Court, and the lawyers are guaranteed to be paid for their work. They’d prefer to roll the dice on the small chance of a huge award or settlement.
I'm finding that a lot of these anti science pushes have big tort law firms behind them angling for big class action lawsuits.
