My cousin committed suicide when he was 20 via gun. His brother did the same 30 years later...using the same gun.

Amazon patented 'one-click-to-buy' because every extra step in the process loses some sales. We all know impulse buying. Guns are 'one-click-to-kill', so the exact same principle applies. It's so simple, anyone can just do it on impulse, hence more deaths whenever they're around

Precisely. With a gun in the house, a brief bout of despair layered on top of preexisting depression can result in spur-of-the-moment suicide. Just getting drunk on top of preexisting depression can result in suicide.

Thankfully we have the 2nd Amendment so that we don’t have to worry about confiscation nut jobs.

Because it is both a easier means and more effective means. Easier in that even an impulse can rapidly become an attempt with little or no planning. Effective in that firearm suicide attempts almost always result in death. The next common method is half as effective.

2/3 of firearm deaths are suicides (in U.S.), there's a stronger suicide prevention than homicide prevention public health argument for gun control.
