I remember seeing Dr. Corday doing some surgery one episode and a liver transplant in a different episode later in the season. Because surgeons could cover every specialty.

The biggest offender by far was House. Fun show yo be sure, but every episode made me scream “THAT IS NOT HOW ANY OF THIS WORKS”. I’m sure all of these shows employ MD consultants, but they are all egregiously incompetent.
