David is correct. A lot of Christmas holiday were taken from the pagans/germanic. Just like Halloween is from Celtic traditions. Gernanic Yule & Roman Saturnalia. Christian missionaries gave it a makeover to be what we now know as Christmas.
But now it's called a "Christmas Tree."
Cool. One of mine is called a Disney tree. One of them is called a little tree. We can call them whatever the hell we want.
