No one should doubt my provaccine cred, and yet TBH I kinda feel for the parents here. Tetanus is not transmissible directly from person to person; so there really was no good medical reason to isolate these kids like that just for tetanus.

I'm assuming that the hospital was more concerned that the child could expose immunocompromised kids to Whooping cough, Measles, Mumps, polio and the like, not Tetanus. As he wasn't vac'd, he could certainly be infected but not yet symptomatic. Tetanus shot was just preventative.

Possibly. But nothing was said to indicate that that was the reason, and the parents clearly believed it was because of exposure to tetanus, which is not a valid reason. At the very least, the hospital did not communicate well. At worst, it engaged in shaming.
