We have a term for this sort of “asking questions,” too. It’s called “just asking questions,” abbreviated as JAQing off. https://rationalwiki.org/wiki/Just_asking_questions …

Many regular parents ask questions, including questions antivaccine groups put out. But most people don’t reject science-based answers to those questions. What makes one antivaccine is not asking; it’s rejecting answers that don’t fit their desire to believe
#vaccines are bad. -
When my kiddo was a baby, I thought it seemed like a lot of vaccines in the first year. As a FTM, I asked about everything! But I was reassured by the answers, including discussion of risk / side effects.

Hey, we vaxers ask questions, too. And then make a considered decision.

Constantly amazed that we can't get people to believe we are having a climate emergency but people have no problem believing vaccines are dangerous

Always the anti vax name calling. I do have a question for you . Why is hep b shot given on day 1 of birth? Why do I need hep b to get my 3 yr old into school ? If I wanted to only give my babies the shots we had as kids I don’t have that Option
-
Because the incidence of hepatitis B did not really fall until the birth dose was started. Because we can protect them for life by giving it early, and not allowing some cases to slip through. What’s so magic about the shots you got as a kid when we can do better today?
