Pink month lies: “Early detection saves lives and breasts”. It doesn’t, and because of overdiagnosis you will reduce your risk of becoming a breast cancer patient by one-third if you ignore summons for mammography screening. https://bit.ly/2N8cDYC andhttps://bit.ly/31C8YHF

Dangerous advice. Early detection meant my cancer was picked up and treated before it spread. I have been clear for over 2 years now. Late detection, on the other hand, resulted in the deaths of both my Mother and my Sister.

Stage 3 breast cancer doesn't require mammography for early detection. And it must be already investigated on the sample. It's already in lymph nodes, it's palpable. Having such family history you either lie, or your doctor made you pay for quite unsafe procedure.

Correct. Also, there can be cancer in the lymph nodes even before you can feel them.
