Dr. Prasad does not seem to actually know the work of those he attacks. Neurologica is an excellent, broad, diverse example of excellent topics, wide ranging, more sciencey. https://theness.com/neurologicablog/ … SBM does a lot of quackery maybe 50%? https://sciencebasedmedicine.org/

It's hard to imagine people like Dr. Prasad attacking allies for no apparent reason, apparently he perceives his work as more important? or something? He's not the first to believe their mission reigns supreme over all missions.

Pretty sure that Dr. Prasad's next move will not be "dunking on antivax is so easy, let me show you how easy it is", in fact, he's actually seeming to say "it's impossibly hard, so why try?" Original point about amplifying is OK. I always think its better to inform than repost.

Ya I wondered how long because I’ve been following him for close to 3 years, have read his book & his research/commentary; many of the assumptions I see that you & others are making do not align with my experience of him.

Trying to have an open mind, just really disagree with him on this issue. My entire push against the psychiatric bullshit that dominates my field, came from the development of skepticism and critical thinking, given to me by the passion of

I have been working on suicide risk assessment policy, modifications, research, and specifically working to counter and debunk myths, and seeing these two physicians work hard in general science communication was inspiring.

I don't find "my stuff is harder than your stuff" particularly inspiring.

Agreed. It's worse than that; it's intentionally insulting, as is the suggestion that skeptics give up on CAM and do what he does for a year.
