That's a broad question, not easily answerable on Twitter. In the case of the antivaccine movement, the press no longer feels anywhere near as obligated to do "both sides" stories and antivax misinformation is increasingly deplatformed. Those are wins.

My retort was simple: Is the number of drugs approved on the basis of inadequate clinical trial evidence growing or shrinking? Since it's growing, by his logic I should be able to declare his efforts ineffective and tell him his ego is so fragile so he cannot hear this.
