"If he feels that he does enough of what I think is more valuable..."
This is a really weird take, to be honest. Telling someone to do more with their time of what YOU find valuable?

"...then he need not feel offended. " My dude, you literally attacked him, unprompted, and called him out by name multiple times along the course of your diatribes. I'm confused how someone is supposed to not take directed attacks at them personally.

I'll be honest I tried to step back and consider the initial point made, which had the potential for some validity, and watch how the conversation unfolded to see where that line of argument was going to go. Needless to say, I definitely disagree now.

Trying to call out other people's approaches to addressing pseudoscience for being too mean or angry by then using disingenuous arguments, subtweets, passive aggressive sarcasm, or direct attacks on individuals is not a good look. I'll be honest, I expected better.

I also note that I tried to deescalate more than once by asking him for specific ideas on how to combat antivax misinformation. His response? Stop wasting my time with CAM, alt med, and antivax and do "something harder" (what he does) for a while.

Yup. I tried to post such responses multiple times along his multiple threads, though got no response.

In fairness I did do a little subtweeting myself, but Dr. Prasad shouldn't have minded. By his rationale re: alt med I was amplifying his message.
