This is one way an opinion-based characteristic is different from an immutable one. You can become antivaccine. You can become antivaccine even if at one point you vaccinated your children. (Looking at you, Mr. Kennedy).

Yup. Most of his children are old enough that they were vaccinated in the 1980s and 1990s. His youngest was born in 2001, which makes me think that maybe this child had something to do with his becoming antivaccine around 2004-2005.

They think 'anti-vaxxer' is a dirty word so they like to call themselves 'ex-vaxxers' now. It's much more hip.

Before that, it was, "I'm not antivaccine; I'm a pro-safe vaccine"; i.e., falsely claiming the mantle of vaccine safety advocates.
