I'm doubly annoyed by the honey fly trap suggestion. Everyone knows you use vinegar to catch flies. And the analogy is that she is trying to attract pests? I don't get it. Your goal is to lure flies to their death, not make friends. What is the human relevance here? Creepy.

It also sounds a whole lot like the "honey pot" trap used by spies to get kompromat on their nation's enemies to use to blackmail them.

I thought of the "honey pot" or "honey trap" that I did because I used to read entirely too many spy novels, particularly John Le Carre.
