Alright, another Twitter pet peeve: Whenever I criticize or make sarcastic remarks about enemas and the health claims quacks make for them, almost invariably some insufferable twit will show up in my mentions telling me, either seriously or sarcastically, not to kink shame.🙄

It's the pseudoscience and quackery I'm making fun of, fools.🤦🏻‍♂️

I have often wondered about that. Because that means literally everything is off the table for discussion or mockery. Kink shaming could be a kink.

I agree here, if you want to put things in your behind or anywhere else make sure they are clean and safe, don't tell people it will cure their illnesses and enjoy it with consenting adults.

It’s just a common meme/joke, along with “oops that’s my kink”

Yeah, and it irritates the crap out of me. I'm going to start muting or even blocking people who show up in my mentions repeating that lame joke.

Wow. Really? So- using humor to strike a blow against junk science is Kink shaming? FFS...guess we can add context cues and reading comprehension to the “needs improvement” list for these folks.

Another Twitter pet peeve: Me making a sarcastic comment about a number or statistic, and people showing up in my mentions lecturing me about statistics. No, that's not clever or funny, either. It's just annoying pedantry.
