What a travesty. Parents do not OWN the children in their care, children are not objects to be used as pawns of belief. I cannot say how strongly I feel that, as both a developmental psychologist and someone who lived through and escaped an extreme, destructive religion.

Full disclosure, I was counsel for Collett Stephan on various days during this retrial. What I find truly astounding is how people can opine so emphatically on a case when they did not even spend one moment in the courtroom listening to testimony.

Full disclosure, I'm a physician who thinks logically. What I find truly astounding is that anyone would choose to defend either of the parents when outside of the courtroom.
