If medical exemptions to school vaccine mandates by antivax doctors are firmly based in science, why is it that these antivax doctors fear #SB276 so much? They shouldn't if they're truly practicing according to the standard of care. https://t.co/flPhL25rEZ

After all, all
#SB276 does is to standardize the medical exemption process, requiring clear reasons, and keep track of which doctors are issuing exemptions for what conditions, and then only among doctors who write a lot of exemptions.1 reply 1 retweet 12 likesShow this thread -
It's entirely reasonable, when confronted with a doctor who writes ten or a hundred times the number of exemptions as a typical doctor with a similar sized practice, to ask what the indications for all of these additional exemptions are.

Again, doctors practicing by the standard of care have nothing to fear from #SB276. Antivax quacks hate the new law because (1) it will draw state attention to their quack practices and (2) it dries up a lucrative cottage industry selling medical exemptions for bogus indications.
